Be at the gate when it opens, before the tour groups. Give it about two hours.
- Jagdish Temple
A short walk from the palace gate. Shoulders and knees covered.
- Lunch near Gangaur Ghat
Lake-view cafés. Your driver waits nearby.
- Doodh Talai boat and Karni Mata ropeway
A 15 to 20 minute round on Lake Pichola, then the ropeway up the hill for the view. Both start from the same spot.
- Sajjangarh (Monsoon Palace)
The car drives up the hill. In winter the counter closes at 5:30 PM.
- Dharohar folk dance at Bagore Ki Haveli
One hour of Rajasthani dance. The counter opens at 4 PM. Drop at your hotel by about 8:15 PM.

A late start on purpose. Eklingji is shut until 10:30 AM.

About 22 km out. No photos inside, so leave phones in the car.

Reach for the Rajbhog darshan, about 11:15 AM to 12:15 PM. Phones and leather items are not allowed inside.

Simple vegetarian thalis near the temple.
- Haldighati
The Maharana Pratap museum (9 AM to 6 PM), Chetak’s memorial and the old pass. About an hour.
- Statue of BeliefOptional
The 369 ft Shiva statue on the edge of Nathdwara, open again from 3 PM. Adds about 1.5 hours, from ₹299 in a sedan. Entry ₹200.
- Back in Udaipur
Later, around 6 PM, if you add the Statue of Belief.

Open to visitors from about 12 PM to 5 PM. Shoes and leather items stay outside.

Do the city days by scooty
Like to ride? The city days of this 2 day itinerary for Udaipur work well on a scooty. We deliver it to your hotel and you follow the same plan at your own pace. Riding out to Eklingji, Nathdwara and Haldighati is fine and adds ₹300 a day. Kumbhalgarh is too far for a scooty and Chittorgarh is not allowed, so those days go by taxi.

Licence: a valid two-wheeler licence and one ID. A helmet comes with the scooty.
Petrol is paid by you. Timing is flexible and agreed on WhatsApp.
Outside the city: Eklingji, Nathdwara and Haldighati add ₹300 a day. Kumbhalgarh and Chittorgarh go by taxi. Two-wheelers pay no highway toll.
Two riders going up to Sajjangarh? Take a Dio or Access 125. The hill road is steep.

Temple and show timings come from public sources and can shift with the season and festivals, so treat them as approximate. Separate tickets: the City Palace entry does not include Crystal Gallery or the Jagmandir boat, and the Bagore Ki Haveli museum and the Dharohar show are two tickets.

Dress for temples. The temples on this 2 day itinerary for Udaipur ask for modest clothes: Jagdish, Eklingji, Shrinathji, Sanwariya Seth and Ranakpur. Cover shoulders and knees.
Phones and leather. Not allowed inside Shrinathji. No photos inside Eklingji. Leave them in the car.
Closed days and hours. Biological Park on Tuesdays, Eklingji from 1:30 to 5 PM, Sanwariya Seth from 12 to 2:30 PM, Ranakpur for visitors outside 12 to 5 PM.

What are the places to see in Udaipur in 2 days?
City Palace, Jagdish Temple, Lake Pichola, Jagmandir, Bagore Ki Haveli and the Dharohar show, Ambrai Ghat, Fateh Sagar and Nehru Park, Saheliyon Ki Bari, Moti Magri, the Vintage Car Collection, the Karni Mata ropeway and Sajjangarh Monsoon Palace. Plan D fits all of them into two days.
How much does a 2 day Udaipur trip cost by taxi?
In a sedan, after the ₹200 multi-day discount, the taxi for both days is ₹4,800 for Plan D (city only), ₹5,300 for Plan A, and ₹5,800 for Plan B or Plan C. With tickets and car charges, two Indian adults spend about ₹8,444 on Plan A, ₹8,774 on Plan B, ₹9,059 on Plan C and ₹10,718 on Plan D, not counting hotel and food.
Can I see Udaipur and Kumbhalgarh in 2 days?
Yes. That is Plan B: one full day in Udaipur, then Kumbhalgarh Fort and Ranakpur temple on the second day, back in Udaipur by evening.
Can I do Chittorgarh on a 2 day Udaipur trip?
Yes. Plan C gives Day 2 to Chittorgarh Fort. The car drives you inside the fort, and you can add Sanwariya Seth on the way back or stay for the light and sound show.
Are entry tickets included in the taxi price?
No. The taxi price covers the car, driver, fuel and hotel pickup. Tickets, boats, shows, City Palace parking, the Sajjangarh car entry and tolls are paid by you at each counter. Every price is listed on this page.
Can the trip start from Udaipur airport?
Yes. Book the airport pickup together with this itinerary and it costs ₹250 less than our normal airport fare: ₹549 in a sedan, ₹749 in an Ertiga, ₹1,049 in an Innova Crysta and ₹1,749 in a Tempo Traveller.
Which places are closed on certain days or hours?
Sajjangarh Biological Park is closed on Tuesdays. Eklingji closes from about 1:30 to 5 PM. Ranakpur lets visitors in only from about 12 to 5 PM. Sanwariya Seth closes from about 12 to 2:30 PM. The Statue of Belief closes from 12:30 to 3 PM. We plan each day around these.
Is this 2 day plan good for foreign visitors?

Foreign visitors pay more at most counters, for example ₹600 at Kumbhalgarh and Chittorgarh forts and ₹630.24 at the Monsoon Palace. We take cash and UPI; card payment is not available yet.
Is the driver also a guide?
No. Our drivers are local and speak Hindi and English, and they know the best order for each day, but they are not licensed guides. You can hire an official guide at City Palace, Kumbhalgarh or Chittorgarh.
Do I need to pay an advance?
For most trips, no. In peak season we may ask for a small advance to hold the car, and we tell you before you confirm.
Are these fares the same all year?
These are our October to February fares. Around Diwali, Christmas and New Year fares can be higher. We confirm the final fare on WhatsApp before you book.
Can I do the 2 day itinerary for Udaipur by scooty?
Yes, the city days. Plan D works fully on a scooty: an Activa 6G costs ₹700 for 2 days with our offer till 30 November 2026, delivered free to your hotel. Plan A also works fully on a scooty: ₹700 for 2 days plus ₹300 for the ride out to Eklingji, Nathdwara and Haldighati. On Plans B and C, ride the city day and take the taxi for Kumbhalgarh or Chittorgarh, which are not done by scooty. Two riders at most on one scooty.
