The order we suggest to first-time visitors. Your driver adjusts the day to beat queues and old city traffic.
- City Palace
Be at the gate when it opens at 9, before the tour groups. Give it about two hours.
- Jagdish Temple
A short walk from the palace gate. Closed in the afternoon, so go before 1 PM. Shoulders and knees covered.
- Lunch by the lake
Gangaur Ghat or Lal Ghat cafés. Your driver waits nearby.
- Lake Pichola boat ride
From Rameshwar Ghat or Lal Ghat, past Jag Mandir and Lake Palace.
- Saheliyon Ki Bari
Fountains and gardens, about 40 minutes.
- Fateh Sagar Lake
Lakeside walk, snacks and a boat to Nehru Park if you like.
- Sajjangarh (Monsoon Palace)
On the 12-hour plan. In winter the counter closes at 5:30 PM, so reach well before that.
- Dharohar show at Bagore Ki Haveli
An hour of Rajasthani folk dance near Gangaur Ghat. Counter opens at 4 PM.
Tips for your day
Leave the hotel by 8:30 AM. City Palace opens at 9 and gets crowded by late morning.
See Jagdish Temple before 1 PM. It closes for the afternoon.
On the 12-hour plan, start early. The Monsoon Palace counter closes at 5:30 PM in winter.
Let the driver drop you at the gates. Old city lanes near Jagdish Temple are narrow and parking is scarce.
Carry cash or UPI for tickets, boats, City Palace parking and the Sajjangarh gate.
Dress for temples: shoulders and knees covered at Jagdish Temple.

How much does a Udaipur sightseeing taxi cost?
In a sedan (Dzire), a half day (4 hr / 20 km) is ₹1,500, a full day (8 hr / 40 km) is ₹2,200, and the 12-hour day (60 km) with Sajjangarh and the Biological Park is ₹2,500. Ertiga, Innova Crysta and Tempo Traveller prices are in the price table. Fuel, driver and hotel pickup are included.
Are entry tickets included in the taxi price?
No. The price covers the car, driver, fuel and hotel pickup. Entry tickets, boats and shows are paid by you at each counter. Every ticket price is listed on this page so you can plan the full cost of your day.
Is there an extra km charge?
Not for city sightseeing. All the main sights in Udaipur fit inside the package, so you only pay extra if you go over the hours. Trips outside the city, like Eklingji, Nathdwara or Haldighati, use our day-trip rates.
What is the extra hour charge?
₹210 for a sedan, ₹270 for an Ertiga, ₹330 for an Innova Crysta and ₹460 for a Tempo Traveller 9+1. A night charge of ₹300 applies if the tour runs late into the night.

Can a car go up to Sajjangarh (Monsoon Palace)?
Yes. The car drives up the hill after the car entry of ₹379.25 is paid at the gate. In winter the counter closes at 5:30 PM (6 PM in summer), so on the 12-hour plan start early. The Biological Park at the foot of the hill is closed on Tuesdays.
What time does the tour start?
Pickup is from 8 AM. City Palace opens at 9 AM, so leaving your hotel around 8:30 gets you there before the tour groups.
Is hotel pickup free?
Yes. Pickup and drop from any hotel in Udaipur city is free. Starting the tour from the airport is possible on request, confirm it on WhatsApp.
Do the drivers speak English?
Yes. Our drivers are local and speak Hindi and English. They are not licensed guides, so for a detailed history tour hire an official guide at City Palace.
Can I book a sightseeing taxi for today?
Yes, same-day booking is possible. In season we check a free car and confirm on WhatsApp in 2 to 5 minutes.
